Maximum Availability Architecture for Oracle Database Cloud Services

The Availability of data and applications is an important element of every IT strategy. At Oracle, we have used our decades of enterprise experience to develop an all-encompassing framework that we call Oracle MAA, for Maximum Availability Architecture, which many customers have adopted over the years to fulfill their availability requirements.

As organizations migrate their systems and databases to the cloud, Oracle MAA has been updated to allow customers to design their Oracle Database Cloud Services infrastructure while incorporating MAA reference architectures and configuration best practices in order to minimize or eliminate downtime that can result in significant business interruptions.

Oracle MySQL Hands-On Lab
Getting Started with MySQL Database Service, HeatWave and Oracle Analytics Cloud
Have a hands-on experience with live support from Oracle MySQL experts
MySQL Database Service, with HeatWave, is the only service that enables database administrators and app developers to run OLTP and OLAP workloads directly from their MySQL database. This eliminates the need for complex, time-consuming, and expensive data movement and integration with a separate analytics database. The service is optimized for and exclusively available in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
In this hands-on workshop you will learn how to:

  • Create and configure the MySQL Database Service with HeatWave
  • Run OLAP workloads on MySQL Database Service with HeatWave
  • Connect MySQL Database Service with Oracle Analytics Cloud in order to visualize your data graphically

Oracle MySQL Enterprise for Government – Highlighting cloud-native HA, security, and compliance | ASEAN
Given today’s digital platforms and applications in government, many deployments are now modular and interconnected, rather than monolithic. Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) serve to inter-connect functions and data as part of government platforms, known as stacks. Their ultimate objective – making government work better for citizens, officials collectively – depends on a spectrum of infrastructure to database from experimentation to major enterprise functions intended to continually manage millions of records or transactions (with all the requisite demands of reliability, scalability and security). Join us for our webinar on how MySQL – the world’s most popular open-source database – can support agility while achieving maximum availability of up to 99.9999%, and meeting stringent security, and compliance for your mission-critical apps.
