Ask Me Anything (AMA) session with Mike Dietrich

Session Abstract: Have you got questions about Oracle Database Migrations and Upgrades? Come along to this session. Ask Me Anything with your question. It is an open format with no presentation. You can submit your questions in the zoom Q&A, and Mike will answer as many as possible.

Speaker Bio: Mike Dietrich is based in Bavaria, Germany and has almost thirty years of experience in the information technology industry. He has spent 24 years at Oracle Corporation where he held senior and management roles in both sales and support before joining Oracle’s Database Development organization. For over a decade he is the Distinguished Product Manager for Database Upgrade and Migrations.
In his role, Mike is responsible for evangelizing, influencing and demonstrating Oracle technology solutions related to database upgrades, migrations and consolidation to Oracle customers and partners worldwide. Besides that, he works consistently with customers in key reference projects, both onsite and remotely. He has become a patching specialist, troubleshoots upgrade and migration issues. and delivers technical workshops between the Arctic and Antarctic. Furthermore, he’s an experienced conference speaker. Mike holds a graduate engineer degree from Georg-Simon-Ohm University of Applied Sciences in Telecommunication Technologies and Computer Science.
