Session Abstract: There are some lesser-known performance features of the Oracle database - some of them added in recent versions - which could improve application performance significantly. Most of them are already part of the Enterprise Edition license without any additional license packs. Some of them are even available in Standard Edition. We'll have a look at features like Index Compression, alternative storage options like Index Organized Tables and Clusters, as well as Attribute Clustering.
