Session Abstract:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) are a lot like preserving the Earth’s environment: Almost everyone is talking about what should be done to save it, but very few people have committed to actually doing something about it.
This session demonstrates a few real-life opportunities to discover unseen patterns and relationships within sample financial and election data by leveraging the AI and ML capabilities already built into Oracle Autonomous Database.
Session Outline:
Through presentations and online demonstrations, this session illustrates how to:
– Understand the basics of what AI and ML promise
– Use the built-in ML features of Autonomous Database to analyze data patterns in several dimensions
– Build simple visual models that uncover patterns hidden within data
Speaker Bio:
Jim Czuprynski has nearly four decades of professional experience in his career in information technology, serving diverse roles at several Fortune 1000 companies before becoming an Oracle DBA in 2001. He has been an Oracle ACE Director in 2014 and is a sought-after public speaker on Oracle Database technology features, presenting often at Oracle OpenWorld, IOUG COLLABORATE, ODTUG Kaleidoscope, Oracle CODE events, Oracle Development Community tours, and Oracle User Group conferences around the world.
Jim has authored over 100 articles focused on facets of Oracle Database administration to his credit since 2003 at databasejournal.com and IOUG SELECT. He has also co-authored four books on Oracle database technology. Jim’s blog, Generally … It Depends (http://jimczuprynski.wordpress.com), contains his regular observations on all things Oracle and the state of the IT industry. He is currently a Senior Enterprise Data Architect for Viscosity North America.

Neste que foi o primeiro evento do GUORS no formato online , discutimossobre a arquitetura do OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure), conceitos-chave e os desafios de um DBA Oracle na conversão de sua carreira para arquiteto Cloud.

- Sobre o palestrante: Marcus Vinicius é DBA Oracle Sênior, Oracle ACE e possui diversas certifiações em Bancos de Dados Oracle. Possui mais de 15 anos de experiência na área. Foi professor de pós-graduação no curso “MBA em Administração de Banco de Dados Oracle” no Veris IBTA, unidades de São Paulo e Campinas. Foi DBA Oracle e Gerente de Operações na Discover Technology e Consultor Oracle Sênior na Oracle (ACS). Atualmente é Consultor Oracle Sênior na Accenture Enkitec Group. Também é conselheiro técnico do GUOB. Mantém um blog sobre Oracle há mais de 10 anos.
