für den 6.Oracle DBA Stammtisch habe ich wie gewünscht das Thema Datenbank Cloud Services vorbereitet. Immer mehr Unternehmen überlegen, die ersten Datenbanken und Anwendungen sicher in die Cloud zu verlegen. Damit wollen Sie Datenbanken flexibler für die Entwicklung von bestehenden und neuen Anwendungen betreiben. Die entwickelten Anwendungen sollen dann nach Bedarf ausgerollt, betrieben und skaliert werden. Und all dies unter der Prämisse – „Pay as you go“ – also verbrauchsbasierte Abrechnung der Nutzung.
Wie geht das, was ist zur Vorbereitung notwendig, was gilt es bei der Durchführung zu beachten?
