1º GUORS Meeting 2018 – Confirmed!

E aí galera!
Dia 28/03/2017 teremos o primeiro encontro 2018 do GUORS acontecendo em Porto Alegre/RS.

Além de encontrar conhecidos e colegas de profissão e conhecer alguns novos, teremos algumas sessões direcionadas. Uma delas comigo, estarei fazendo um 101 sobre o Oracle Autonomous Database.

GUOB Tech Day 2017 Review!

As this is a pretty quick post, I can only say thank you for all reception I had by organization and colleges. I’m not giving a detailed feedback on each session but I regret nothing on this year, all choices were excellent! 😀

GUOB Tech Day 2017!

E aí Galera!
Já estão preparados para o GUOB Tech Day 2017 que vai acontecer no próximo dia 05 de Agosto?!

Presenças confirmadas: Arup Nanda, Mike Dietrich, Craig Shallahamer, Alex Gorbachev, Alex Zaballa, entre outros Oracle Rockstars. Chega lá e confere!

Serão 5 salas simultâneas, mais um Auditório. Este também será o GUOB com a maior quantidade de palestras feitas por brasileiros. Entre eles eu. 🙂
Minha palestra será na Sala 3, as 16:30. Anota aí. Vou falar sobre o Oracle Database Backup Service.

Hey everyone!
Are you ready for the GUOB Tech Day 2017 (OTN LA Tour) on next August 5th?!

Already Confirmed: Arup Nanda, Mike Dietrich, Craig Shallahamer, Alex Gorbachev, Alex Zaballa, and other Oracle Rockstars!

There will be 5 simultaneous rooms plus an Auditorium. This will be the GUOB with the largest amount of lectures made by Brazilians. And I’m among them. 🙂
My lecture will be in Room 3, at 4:30 p.m. (BRT) . I’ll be talking about Oracle Database Backup Service.

Ah! REGISTER soon! It’s cheaper until the end of June!

Just letting you know I’ll be speaking in DBA Brasil 2.0 about Oracle Database Backup Service and specially about it use for On-Premise databases. I’ll be at room 94, from 9 to 10AM BRT.

The session is made for DBAs and Managers being focused on covering ROI, SLAs, Legal Aspect and Pros/Cons on this solution. This session includes a demo on this solution.

GUOB Tech Day 2016: Review!

On the last July 6th, happened at Pontifícia Universidade Católica – RS (PUCRS), the first Oracle users Group GUORS (Grupo de Usuários Oracle do Rio Grande do Sul) event of the year.
